I have lived in DC for a few years now, and I must say, I'm completely loving it! I work for the federal government (like 99% of the people I know!) and have built a wonderful circle of friends who keep me happy and laughing. I consider myself a very thoughtful person who loves to do nice things for people, and I hope to find someone who likes to do the same. I enjoy walks around the city, and go weak in the knees for someone who knows how to tell a good story or joke, likes spending time going on trips and new adventures, and of course, also appreciates a quiet Saturday night watching a movie. :) I guess I'm supposed to use this section to describe what sets me apart from the crowd--that's a tough one! I think I'm one of those people who tries to see the good in everything and everyone--which I think is one of my best qualities. I am a very rational, reasonable person, but what I really love are those moments where I can be completely goofy with someone and laugh until we cry. :)

I am well on my way to accomplishing my goals in life--I want to have (1) a job that makes me happy (check), (2) friends who make life an adventure (check), (3) a city I love living in (check), and (4) a guy to share future adventures with (still in progress!). I would also like to get more involved in my community...wait, this is starting to sound like a resume or cover letter for a job!

Lots of things can be fun, and if you are spending time with someone you care about, even the mundane can be entertaining! Taking long walks, eating ice cream, going for drives (both near and far) to a new city or out to nature, watching a terrible movie and laughing about it later, watching people and observing random things about the world, eating at new restaurants, and yes, sometimes, even going out to a club and dancing!
