My priorities, in life, are to be kind and loving to those whose lives I touch, whether they are family, friends, my students, or strangers. Love is the most important and beautiful aspect to our time on earth. It makes everything else worthwhile.
I have been widowed, twice, and recently lost my fiance, who I met online. Some may think I've been unlucky, but I prefer to believe I've been blessed to have had three magnificent loves. Some people never find one.
I have been an educator for 47 years, and loved teaching students with severe behavior problems. They, too, responded to love.
In my spare time, I love to sing, read, work out at the gym, go off on day trips, play with my dogs, and spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy movies, board games, plays, going out to restaurants, cooking, going to the beach, and just enjoying the beauty of God's earth. I love the simple pleasures in life.
