I suppose, this more than a summary, but like most of us, I too, am a work in progress.

I am somewhat confused by the protocal of this Online Dating as we stumble through it.

I became widowed after a loving and passionate 35-plus-year partnership. It has been over 5 years since her passing.

I have lived almost of my life in Southern California and in spite of all its problems I still enjoy all it has to offer. From the beaches to the mountains from the valleys to the deserts, I enjoy it all. But I enjoy it most with a female companion.

I would love to explore this world with the right someone.

I love music, especially live music. I am a fan of Classical, American SongBook, ClassicRock [I will always be a Deadhead], Folk, Jazz, Americana, International, Blues, and Bluegrass. I love to tap my toes and also dance or shuffle to a great beat. I frequent Disney Hall in the fall and winter and the Hollywood Bowl, the Ford, or the Greek throughout the summertime.

I am an avid Dodger fan and had season tickets for more than 30 years until 2023 [it's a long story]. I do not get to as many games as I like, but I watch on SportsNet or listen on the radio whenever I can.

I listen to NPR, KJAZZ, and Sirius XM or the Dodgers in my car most of the time.

I am a native Californian who has lived more than 40 years in West Los Angeles, just east of Beverlywood. Halfway between DTLA and Santa Monica.

I find cooking to be very enjoyable and therapeutic. I find it fun to cook with and for others. Although I am a foodie, I am often happier in a small cafe the great food, than in an over-hyped place of the moment. My general rule is not to try a new restaurant unless it has been open for at least 6 months. However I do follow the SoCal foodie scene for fun. I am also intrigued by the brewery and distillery scene all over town. Have you made it to Smorgasburg, yet?

I enjoy wine tasting. I like going to wine-tasting events. I have been a wine collector for more than 50 years and I love sharing my finds either at home, out in restaurants, and with friends. As I always say, my favorite wine is a wine shared with friends.

I am financially stable with the litigation law firm I joined in 2022 after 40 years as a sole practitioner.

One of my favorite hobbies is skiing. I am an avid intermediate skier, who truly enjoys the peaceful tranquility of the mountain, and the fun of the apres ski experience, by a warm fireplace. Since that season only lasts a few months, I try to make the most of it with frequent extended weekend getaways.

All year round I also love walking and sitting on or near any body of water, be it a beach, a river, or a lake, and relaxing. Or, put next to a pool, or hot tub, with a good book and good friends, in and out of the water, and I am very happy. I actually really enjoy Palm Springs in the summer, the pool by day, and the warm evening air at night for an outdoor meal.

I am honest and forthright. I will not lie to anyone, although as a Libra, I am always looking for a balance in life. Candidly, although I love animals, I am agnostic about dogs. I like them, but do not truly understand them.

I am in love with love. I am very happy to not go anywhere unique with a special person, but be at home, in a hotel, a cabin, a tent, or any quiet place, enjoying a simple touch, holding hands, hugging, massaging, cuddling, kissing and enjoy each other's company, without need of other stimulation. Just for the fun of it!

I am passionate, caring,
sensual, and very comfortable in my own skin. I am looking to find a person who feels the same way. I love to learn and I love to teach and I hope your feelings would be the same.

I do not know where our "Future" experiences together, might take us, be it dating or a LTR but I would love to find out. If our meeting does not establish a lasting relationship, hopefully, it will develop a lasting friendship. I hold onto my friends for a lifetime.
