I'm originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, but I've lived in the US for the past 27 years, although I still have a Russian accent.

Have two amazing kids, my son is a college graduate and my daughter is in high school. They are very creative, good-natured and funny, and i am crazy about them! They mean the world to me but as involved as i am in their lives and the lives of my friends, i still feel a big hole in my heart waiting to be filled with friendship, companionship, passion and love.
I would love to meet a family-oriented guy (preferably someone with kid(s) as well so that we can share our parenting joys and frustrations and support and help out each other).
I'm a very optimistic person who would like to believe that the best years are yet to come! My friends tell me that I am passionate, interesting, charming, affectionate, blah, blah, blah, creative, dependable, sarcastic at times, and a very honest person.
I love to travel in US and abroad, try different cuisines, host get-togethers, go to the theaters to see plays (don't care for musicals), attend live concerts and shows. Recently trying to revive my childhood passion for painting. My ideal weekends are those filled with live music events (prefer small, intimate venues like jazz clubs), walks on the beach (when it's not crowded, sometimes off-season), driving to quaint towns or attending various cultural events in the cities. Or... just being at home with the right person, whether we are working on something together, with/without the kids, cooking together, or enjoying peace and quiet, doing absolutely nothing, just feeling each other's presence without too many words.
I gravitate towards intellectual, kind and positive people with a great sense of humor.

I prefer to take some time to get to know my partner better and to become friends first.
